Atelier Aimee – Bridal Gown Monday
It is so good to be back on the blog. How I have missed writing and inspiring for the brides and grooms out there. Happy Monday and I hope everyone has been safe despite hurricane Irene!!
Today we are featuring Atelier Aimée Montenapoleone, an amazing designer who has rustic and classic flare mixed with unique feminine romanticism down to a science when it comes to their collections and gowns.
I can truly say that there collections offer something for ALL brides from the risqué or unique bride to the simple elegant or conservative bride and all in-between. I have to say I have fallen in love with this designer and I hope you do too!
Below you will find two of my favourite gowns (which was SO hard to pick) from each of there collections along with a bit of Aimée’s personal description of each collection. Click on the images for a larger view.
Juliet & Romeo: An absolutely new look, thought for the modern bride who wants to dare with gracious wool berets with Swarovski embroideries and crystal-effect wool that is the leitmotiv of the collection and is presented on boleros and short and long coats, also sleeveless, bordered in duchess satin and romantic bows, stoles and gracious small sweaters finished with Dutch evergreen roses shaded in ivory and bud-green for a touch of grace and romanticism…. Villa Carlotta: In the garden that inspires our new 2011 collection, magnificent ivory and fuchsia bougainvillea and the delicate light pink and powder blue hibiscus also stand out, presented in crunchy taffeta and delicate printed organza for a ceremony that takes place in a beautiful park, perfect for a romantic bride… Read more
Black and White: Dedicated to the 1960’s icon of elegance and refinement: the princess Grace Kelly example of style for women up to this day. Shades of black and white alternate on ribbons, on shaded roses, on embroidered laces and glitter tulle, on sculpture haute-couture gowns that are exclusive and unique… Read more
Prêt á Porter: Prêt a Porter di Atelier Aimée Montenapoleone is the collection realized for a very refined bride, who dreams searches for an almost "informal" gown, not too wide and in a certain sense, less structured, for an effect of absolute softness and lightness… Read more
