Coaster Favours: DIY Wedding Wednesday

Image
Happy Wednesday! Time to make it over the hump! Are you ready for another DIY Wedding Wednesday ? Studying origami has been a lot of fun… trying to perfect the art so I can make some great items for our new Wedding Affiliates Store . While some things are more easy to buy others can be done at home, in advance of your wedding for just a pretty penny! The perfect DIY wedding project is one that can be done over time well in advanced, easily stored, and of course fun without added stress. These coasters (or doily like centrepiece bottoms) are a great gift for your guests. Happy Monday! Did you all catch the Oscars last night?? I am sure you did… I think my favourite gown had to have been Meryl Streep in her gorgeous gold Eco-Sustainable gown… If you haven’t seen it click here . My favourite Oscars to wedding dress is Gwyneth Paltrow’s sleek cape silhouette which you can check out here . But today we are going Vintage Hot with Charlotte Casadjéjus . The list can go on, but Charlotte Casadjéjus gowns have the olden feel with a modern touch so we just had to feature their stunning gowns on todays blog. And Our Favourite this week is their Maude and Margot dresses. Loving the feather detail with the sheer overlay for the thicker straps and one shoulder look. I also love the belt detail that

TGIF! Hope you are having a very inspirational day! If you're planning your wedding and feeling a little stumped on what to chose for your theme or colour concept use this trick to help. Close your eyes, envision your bedroom the way you dream it could be… What do you see? Well what you envisioned could just as easily be used as your wedding inspiration. For me… this is something like what I would have as my dream room… although the colour could have been any bright vibrant colour! I’m very modern in my interior decorating style, so my wedding inspiration would be neutral tones with pops of bright colours, a variety of patterns and textures, very deep or really light wood tones, metallics, flowers, and paintings or photos. I would advise that you write out what you most love about your bedroom vision like I did above. Now incorporate into your weddings in your fabrics, food, favours, and anything else you can think of! Here is how I used my room vision to make an inspiratio
