Happy Monday.. Happy President’s Day or Happy Family Day depending on where you are!!! We are looking at the Rosa Clará 2012 Spring Bridal Gown Collection. I must say I went through one gorgeous dress after another.. it was literally impossible to choose a few favourites. MAKE SURE you go scout the collection cause your favourite may not even be in the ones I have chosen. You can check there website for the collection ! Not only do they have gorgeous gowns but they really captured the spring season. They have dresses with light jackets or sleeves that accommodate the warming but still slightly cool spring season! They also added some pastel coloured gowns that despite being pink and blue still look like wedding gowns and don’t have that bridesmaid feel you often get when colours involved (although we here love colour!). Happy Friday! I hope you are starting the soon-to-be weekend off well! I think my biggest wedding dream would be to blend together every colour of the rainbow to make a spectacular wedding event! Sunday is Earth Day (and my birthday which makes me a super huge fan) so this weeks Wedding Inspiration Friday is all about giving the earth some love! We’re showing off some amazing eco-friendly and of course eco-chic wedding vendor and products in BOLD, BRIGHT colours for earth day! This is the way to have a fabulous wedding while still loving the earth (and loving yourself too). Happy Easter weekend for all who are celebrating!! Today we are going pastel for Easter! When I think of spring specifically Easter I think of softness in a variety of colours and pastels offer just that. A calming feeling. But when going pastel I like the idea of blending a couple or a lot of colours. Pastels are so subdued so the blend and layering of colours gives that added punch that otherwise might be missing! Also play upon the whites you choose for your wedding. Add off-whites, stark white, ivories they offer a soft base to your pastels. But if you would like a deeper contrast I would choose a gray over black because it has white in it which blends well with the white added to colour to make pastels. Oh boy has it been a busy time!!! I miss blogging every Monday, Wednesday (sometimes Thursday) and Friday’s with you!!! But we are back here today celebrating Spring Wedding Inspiration with the beautiful colour of Yellow! I am all for a monochromatic wedding especially when you play upon the different shades, tints, and hues of the colour. Don’t be afraid to use a very pale tint of yellow, with a more vibrant hue of yellow. Or a gold with a lemon yellow.
