HAPPY FRIDAY! TGIF! Looking outside we can see that fall is slowly coming to an end. Yes after the tricks have been played and the treats have been eaten we start to get in to the feeling of winter. Colder weather stores beginning to stock the Christmas items. But we couldn’t end fall on the blog without a little fall wedding inspiration. While browsing through facebook a while ago I came across this very cute picture of a precious kitten engulfed in leaves. To me this picture is the epitome of fall. Specifically the colours. More specifically when I think of fall I think of the falling leaves in rich reds, yellows, oranges, and browns.. which of course is what most would think of.. but I also think about the little pops of sunlight we get with rich blue skies, or how all colours pop against the muted tones of the everyday fall light. It’s Friday!! It’s Fall which means Halloween is almost here and all you candy lovers out there can satisfy your candy obsession. We’re getting candy obsessed here today on our Inspiration Friday blog with LOL Candy and their fabulous candy table, centrepieces, and much much more! And since we are using Halloween as our source for this candy obsession we are using a darker colour scheme showing you that a Halloween themed wedding can be quite elegant with a punch of fun! Happy Bridal Gown Monday! Happy Monday in general.. a new day, a new week.. some gorgeous new gowns! We are still on our fall obsession and we want to talk about lace and lace-like appliques. Lace is a great accent in any season but fall has just the right colours for lace to look great against. Rich oranges, reds, and browns make the perfect backdrop for a lace gown or a gown with lace accents.
