Welcome to our Final week of the Wedding Inspiration Friday series of Gemstones and the jewel tone colours you can use to inspire your wedding theme. For our 3rd and final week we are exploring Tanzanite. Tanzanite  is a recently discovered gemstone, said to be connected with the traditions of the Masai tribe, who believe that it has healing properties. The Masai give tanzanite to newborn children, since it is thought to represent life. Representing Healing which for weddings is a very wonderful thing. To go into a new stage of life offering healing while accepting someone else would be a very good tradition to begin on. So lets's look at how you can offer Tanzanite, specifically Blue-Violet Tanzanite, into your wedding theme going with the feeling of calm, serenity, healing, and love. Happy Inspiration Friday and I’m sure everyone feels like TGIF!!! I am still in love with the vintage style wedding.. in fact when my wedding does come along someday I will definitely incorporate a hint of vintage for my theme inspiration. I am loving fascinators… and now that they have become so popular.. they offer a fun way to slightly modernize (but not too much) the vintage feel to weddings. And remember when using vintage as your wedding’s inspiration you don’t have to go completely vintage through your entire wedding, simply adding vintage features that you truly love in cooperation with modern features will give you a very personalized custom wedding. Happy Inspiration Friday!! How are you being inspired today? I can imagine the scepticism of wearing black on ones wedding day. However, black shouldn’t be avoided because of the stigma one associates with the colour. Bridal Gown Designer Hillary Morgan definitely shows us how to wear black on our wedding day and I think if it’s a brides favourite colour she shouldn’t be afraid to showcase it. My view on a black bridal gown would be a black tie affair theme. It would be interesting and quite unique to see a bride in black her groom in white. Happy Bridal Gown Monday. Today we reach week 3 of our 5 part mini-series on colourful bridal gowns. This week we are looking at the colour silver. Silver is a great wedding gown colour… it’s fairly light goes with several colours and shimmers in the light. Silver is also great alternative to stark white because its has a cool undertone. Because silver is a cool colour remember it will make your skin tone look lighter and could essentially make you look pale… if so contrast with a rosy or bronze make up.
