Image
Hello Everyone!!! Happy FRIDAY!!! And happy CANADA DAY to all my fellow Canucks! We’re kicking of our Superhero Mini-Series where we will feature some of ours and some of your favourite comic heroes! Of course with ‘ The Amazing Spiderman’ coming out this Tuesday (July 3) in theatres we had to start with your “Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man”. And how, you ask, can you have a Spiderman wedding without the typical cliché costume effect. Think abstract and go minute with details. The key is minimization. We are still on our Accessorize Mini-Series today we are showing you how to use body art as your bridal accessory starting with paint. What about some great body paint to heighten your bridal look. You could add a huge colourful detail to your back like the photo above (designed by paint-n-faces ) or you can get really creative and do a paint (trash) the dress photo shoot. I love the idea of a trash the dress where you really trash it… the idea of a paint the dress is to use paint, glitter, etc. and throw it around until your covered  in it. Sparkling with different colours. It makes for a fantastic photo-shoot! (photography by Lindsayskeans Photography ) And the beautiful art of Henna or Mehndi. You can go traditional with a design on top and on the bottom of your hands. Get more modern and haute couture with bright colours, jewels and c

Flowers added to dresses, beautiful hats, high tea, and yummy mini desserts. Just perfect for a summer wedding! So below you will find our inspiration board for a Victorian style wedding. Hope you enjoy. Next week on to superhero's! We would still love to know your favourite comic hero.. post in the comments below. As always photo credits are below.
