Fall Necklines – Bridal Gown Monday

Image
It’s fall and the trees are slowly changing. Happy Bridal Gown Monday!!! This Monday we are going to look at the neck… yes the neck. What’s great about fall is the neckline possibilities on wedding gowns. People start straying away from the strapless and start adding lace, ruffles, bows, sequins, and all that jazz. I think fall is my favourite wedding season because it brings sexy modesty. There is a lot more fabric but in such a sexy way! Brides go elegant or fun; refined or funky… but they play on the neckline adding that unique touch that draws attention to the brides gorgeous face! Square, Halter, Scoop, V-neck, One shoulder, and Off the shoulder necklines are just the way to kick off the fall season and of course we are showcasing gowns from amazing designers on JLMCouture.com . What’s your favourite Neckline??? Let us know in the comment section below! Halter/One Shoulder Neckline: Square Neckline: V-neck/Off-the-Shoulder/Scoop Neckline: Have a gown or designer

Romance of the Years – Friday: A Day of Wedding Inspiration

Image
Wow it’s been awhile since I have been inspired so that I could inspire. Happy Inspiration Friday… Hope you are still reading despite my absence over the passed little while! Today my inspiration Friday was inspired by a good friend of mine Dawn Murphy-Rodriguez and her Husband Bill Rodriguez who thought I should do my next inspiration Friday on the movie Gone with the Wind. At first that was exactly what I planned to do.. however I have never seen the movie… I know I know you can breath don’t pass out.. lol. So I decided to instead focus on the intense romance that the movie and books were about. More specifically.. Romance over the years. Has it changed? In my mind, the idea of true romance can never change. In fact as you’ll see from my boards below although the era’s have changed, romance still stayed the same! But I guess that is only for those who believe in true romance.. and you bet, I do! Romance of the Years : Romance of Old Photo credits on StyleMePretty.com Rom

Lingerie Ready - Bridal Gown Monday

Image
I have recently had brides asking me if lingerie is necessary for the wedding. My answer is always the same… “of course it’s not necessary, lots of things you purchase for a wedding aren’t really necessary but they are nice and they add the extra personal detail that make it all worth while”. Lingerie should emphasize all the things you love about yourself and your body. It should almost be an enhanced extension of who you are. So make sure when choosing lingerie that you don’t pick it just for your partner but that you pick it for yourself, match your personality and style. After all your partner loves you for being you so he will certainly love whatever you choose. Of course when looking around for great lingerie to show on this blog the first website that popped in my head was Victoria Secret . What’s great about there bridal lingerie section is they have it laid out in 3 categories: Bachelorette, Wedding Day, and Honeymoon. Three great days to focus on your under garments. Let’
