Image
Oh boy has it been a busy time!!! I miss blogging every Monday, Wednesday (sometimes Thursday) and Friday’s with you!!! But we are back here today celebrating Spring Wedding Inspiration with the beautiful colour of Yellow! I am all for a monochromatic wedding especially when you play upon the different shades, tints, and hues of the colour. Don’t be afraid to use a very pale tint of yellow, with a more vibrant hue of yellow. Or a gold with a lemon yellow. Have fun with the different vibrancies and enjoy the subtle differences of the colour of your choice. Here is our Shades of Yellow wedding Inspiration… I hope you enjoy! Image
Happy Friday… and a very happy spring to you all!!! I know we were hiatus on the blog this week but we haven’t forgot about our readers… we simply took a small break! If you are looking for bridal shows for this weekend be sure to check us out on the Toronto Weddings Examiner page where we have all the deets for this weekend. Have you been enjoying the beautiful weather?? We have! So this week we wanted to share some spring with you in our Inspiration Friday. So what better way then to use inspiration from cherry blossoms. Spring always reminds me of cherry blossoms. They really are a beautiful sight when in full bloom! There is such a richness of colours from light to hot pink, browns from the tree branches and the green that surrounds it. It would be quite a beautiful wedding backdrop! We enriched our inspiration board today with all of the beautiful colours and of course the flowers too. We are kind of revisiting the cherry blossom theme you can see our previous eco-friendly

Owl Hoot – Friday: A Day of Wedding Inspiration

Image
Happy Friday!!! I love owls. They’re so majectic, cute, and they always look so smart! The owl for this weeks Owl Hoot Inspiration is the barn owl also know as the Tyto alba. The rich yellows, oranges, whites and greys in the owls feathers are stunning. Plus the green backdrop was perfect for not only a spring wedding (springs just around the corner) but also fro St. Patrick Day.. which is tomorrow. So we had to add some green in there! We hope you fall in love with owls too.. who knows maybe you too will find the perfect inspiration from their wonderful colours or even their eccentric attitudes. Your wedding will surely be a hoot! Backless Details: Bridal Gown Monday

Image
Happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Today we are daring to go backless or at least semi-backless with Amy Michelson . Amy’s gowns are sleek and sexy and the backs have such gorgeous detail! I think adding a focal point to your gown makes it easier to select one. If you choose to have a sweetheart neckline, tulle bottom, or floral accents it narrows down your selection. Personally backless details are my most favourite addition to a gown. There are endless possibilities you can do with the back of your gown. And our favourite this week… drum roll….. Amy Michelson’s Posh Gown is our absolute favourite. We love the cute bow with the criss cross detail. But most of all we love the soft flowing ruching that runs down the gown. Very sexy but in a subtle way! Their are lots of stunning gowns in their collection, so be sure to check it out. Here are some of the backless detailed gowns we loved!
