The Boat Neckline (Bateau)

The boat neckline is best suited for a tall slender bride with a smaller bust line. While it doesn’t draw attention to the bust it will automatically make the bust line look larger. However for the more curvy bride try a bateau bridal gown with a sweetheart or strapless like silhouette with a sheer or lace extension to the neck (shown below with the Butterfly gown).

This style bridal gown is definitely best suited for a more traditional and elegant wedding. It is the perfect silhouette for a vintage themed wedding.
