Happy Monday… Hope your week is starting off refreshing and productive despite the cold (in Toronto anyway ;))!!! Today we are looking at Sarah Houston Bridal’s 2013 Spring collection. The words that I instantly thought of while browsing the collection were sweet, soft, pretty, and even seductive. For example our two favourites this week (the Pastelle and Rain gowns below) have both a feminine softness and seductive sexiness. Both strapless but just with different fabrics and a different shape you get two completely different feels to these gowns.. both being quite gorgeous! Which is why when trying on gowns aside from thinking of type and fabric be sure to consider how you want to feel in the gown. OUR FAVOURITES THIS WEEK!! We love the Pastelle for the contrast between the bodice and the skirt. Happy Friday! TGIF! Hope you all had a fabulous week! Here in Toronto it has been really cold.. cold isn’t always bad. Especially for weddings for example, cold colours! Which of course what we are talking about today on our Inspiration Friday. More specifically the colour of the year Emerald. Such a rich colour perfect for all seasons, because it’s shade is deeper on the green spectrum it can blend with many colours. But being the colour of the year we didn’t want to distract to much from the colour.. and we love monochromatic schemes… just not as much as blended colour schemes so were adding some blue! Very peacock esc without the peacock, much more subtle with hints of aqua and turquoise. A great inspiration for a winter wedding because it works so well against a white backdrop. We hope you enjoy. Happy Monday.. Hope everyone is having a great start to a new week! We are excited to day to be looking at stunning gowns from a truly amazing designer! A designer the completely understands how to make a bride feel sensual while looking romantically gorgeous. Jenny Packham’s 2013 bridal collection and accessories are to die for. Her gowns are breath taking and she incorporates lace, frills, bows, florals, ruffles, all the while draping fabrics so they fit and flow wonderfully across a woman’s shape. Happy Monday!! It’s our first Monday of 2013 and we have a beautiful collection to show you today. Maggie Sottero is known for her gorgeous gowns and this collection is no exception. Catering to all shapes and sizes in an array of styles this collection is great for all brides.
