Body Art: Bridal Gown Monday

Happy Monday/Tuesday.. today being Tuesday… I was late in posting yesterday so I thought I’d do my bridal gown Monday today instead.

We are still on our Accessorize Mini-Series today we are showing you how to use body art as your bridal accessory starting with paint.

Body Paint by Paint-n-Faces

What about some great body paint to heighten your bridal look. You could add a huge colourful detail to your back like the photo above (designed by paint-n-faces) or you can get really creative and do a paint (trash) the dress photo shoot.

I love the idea of a trash the dress where you really trash it… the idea of a paint the dress is to use paint, glitter, etc. and throw it around until your covered  in it. Sparkling with different colours. It makes for a fantastic photo-shoot! (photography by Lindsayskeans Photography)

And the beautiful art of Henna or Mehndi. You can go traditional with a design on top and on the bottom of your hands.

Traditonal

Get more modern and haute couture with bright colours, jewels and crystals.

Or take it up a notch with a contemporary ultra bridal look. (All Mehndi designs by Pavan)

But if you really want to incorporate body art that's everlasting, think about getting your wedding bands as tattoos. You can get some creative help with this eHow article on wedding band tattoo ideas.
