Wedding Maturity – Friday: A Day of Wedding Inspiration

Happy Inspiration Friday and TGIF indeed! Today my inspiration idea came from my wonderful friend Judie!

Today we are getting wise and talking about mature brides and second weddings. I have a lot of love for mature weddings. I think at an older age a bride really gets the truth of a wedding, it becomes a small intimate affair with close loved ones to celebrate two people coming together in the name of love. What can be better than that??

I don’t think second weddings should spare the excitement, joy, and celebration that was experienced at ones first… on the contrary in fact… it should really embody a celebration of the harmonization and connection that is shared.

I am all for intimate weddings of a smaller size simply because you will only be celebrating with the people who understand how your union came to pass and why your wedding day, whether your second or first, as a mature bride is important.

Some great tips:
  • Remember to have lots of fun… this is a celebration
  • Just because you’re a mature bride or this is your second wedding doesn’t mean you have to spare expense or style. Choose a wedding gown that is flattering on you. Go for a suit, add some colour, anything still goes as long as your comfortable.
  • As far as expense goes.. because this wedding will be more intimate and a little smaller spend so that your guests will truly enjoy. Great cuisine, beautiful venues and locations!

TGIF… Happy Holidays.. Almost a New Year. Are you excited??? Well we are and if your a bride preparing for next years Christmas or New Years wedding we want to show you how to sparkle and bedazzle. You don’t just have to bedazzle on your person.. you can use edible jewels in your food, desserts, and drinks. Get an interesting ring or jewellery. Brooch up your bouquet even sparkle up your table settings.
