Chrissy Wai-Ching – Bridal Gown Monday
Happy Bridal Gown Monday! Hope you are enduring this summer heat wave! We are continuing with our “Green” with envy idea from our Inspiration Friday blog highlighting the bridal gown designer Chrissy Wai-Ching.
About Chrissy Wai-Ching:
Chrissy debuted her wild yet wearable line, Wai-Ching, in 2003 with figure flattery at the top of her priority list. Creating fiercely unique clothing is a delicate process. To Wai-Ching, the art lies not only in designing, but also in selecting luxurious silks, hand-dyeing the blank canvas, and meticulously piecing together each masterpiece. The name Wai Ching (Cantonese for wisdom and virtue) reflects the philosophy of the line and of the artist herself.
Her Boutique is located in Seattle. The designer creates garments using in silk, hemp, and other natural fibers handmade and dyed in Seattle.
I personally love her gowns because they are made to show off a woman’s curves. This designer is not afraid of colour and she accents each gown with colour, texture, or both. These gowns are for the truly unique eco-chic bride but should be sought out and worn by all brides!
Here are some of my favourite Bridal gowns from the Wai-Ching line:
The Samsara:
The Tulip:
The Zolotova:
