Painting is one of my favourite forms of art, you get to enrich yourself in culture and colours just by taking the time to look at a painting. My favourite Painter is Vincent Van Gogh and today’s inspiration boards are inspired from two of his wonderful renderings.

Happy Friday… The sun is shining here and it’s so warm out. And when it’s warm you always need something to quench the thirst. Hence our lemon lime blog today. We have been loving the fruit infused floral centrepieces that have been going around. It adds such a cool uniqueness to any wedding. They are also quite affordable because you can choose to use flowers and fruits that are in season. A huge variety of colours to choose from and eco-friendly too if you stick with locally grown fruits and flowers. Yellow and green are colours you can never go wrong with. There is so much inspiration in nature that you will have endless ideas with that colour choice (and endless food recipes' and desserts). And since lemons and limes are natural yellows and greens we are using those refreshing, thirst quenching fruits as our inspiration for the blog today. Hope you enjoy. This week we took the colours red and purple (which can feel like summer and warm season colours) and turned them into a great winter wedding inspiration board. Winter, of course being ever so white (in Canada anyway), is a great backdrop for colours so don’t be afraid to add some pop to your winter wedding.
