A Unique Proposal Contest – Shot In The Dark Mysteries

Marriage Proposal

Now we all know New Years Eve and Valentine’s Day are the two most common used days for proposing, and it is the New Year so some of you out there may have got a little nervous around New Years. The good thing is Valentine’s Day is coming up and Shot In The Dark Mysteries had the PERFECT proposal for you all bundled up in a contest.

A “Proposer-to-be” will have the lucky chance to win a customized murder or non-murder mystery party game kit, completely designed from scratch to end with a proposal to their significant other! Now there’s away to take a proposal to the next level.

To enter, write a few paragraphs about your significant other, your relationship, and of course why you want to marry that special person. The most touching story will win the customized mystery, and be delivered a unique custom do-it-yourself mystery kit designed from scratch.

Now of course this is a proposal and we want to keep that element of surprise (especially with such a unique proposal idea) so Shot In The Dark Mysteries has gathered some Wedding and Romance experts to be the judges in picking the most touching story:
  1. Vanessa Leslie of Passion Parties by Vanessa – Barrie, Ontario
  2. Christina and Jay Golian of Elemental Weddings (who also happened to be our wedding photographers) in Edinburgh, Scotland
  3. Irina Fortey of Irina Photography, new mommy and Toronto photographer (also my fab CRAVE photographer!)
  4. Romance, adventure and erotica writer (not to mention shoe and coffee fanatic) Michelle Miles – Fort Worth, Texas
  5. Sandra Aaron from Mindless Sophistication Events in Toronto. Not only is she a wedding planner, she also deals with all sorts of travel, and specializes in creating moments at home & abroad.
  6. Terri Knowlton of Everything and More Events in Atlanta, Georgia, who does everything from weddings to parties to floral design!
Stay tuned in as Shot In The Dark Mysteries will keep you up-to-date with what’s going on throughout the contest, but the lucky couple won’t be revealed until after the proposal (of course).

To enter “like” the Shot In The Dark Mysteries Facebook page and then send an email with the brief write-up to mysterymaiden@shotinthedarkmysteries.com – it’s that easy! But make it fast, because the contest closes on January 31st!

And if you are already engaged don’t be discouraged because you can’t enter this contest check out the Toronto Wedding Professionals: Wedding give-away-palooza contest for your chance to win too!
