Christmas in Spring – Friday: A Day of Wedding Inspiration

TGIF!!! 3 more days and we’ll be waking up to a beautiful Christmas morning. I am hoping for a white one but it doesn't look like we’ll have such luck here in Toronto. With Christmas comes colder weather…. so today I decided to put as different spin on your typical red, green, and white (sometimes blue) Christmas theme and add a little warmth back into it.

Pastels.. that’s right Christmas with pastels. Gives the feeling of Spring hence the blog title. I really like the idea of using fresh, soft, and slightly bright multi-coloured pastels with the cliché Christmas theme. Using ornaments, candy canes, Christmas trees, warm drinks, and garlands all in pastels, along with a little silver shimmer and a lot of sparkle to create the perfect Christmas in spring.. (an imaginary spring.. lol).

Happy Friday!!!!! Hope you are enjoying a wonderful TGIF! We are entering the wardrobe to the amazing an unique world of Narnia today as we continue our Movie Lovers Mini Series this week. Narnia and Lord of the Rings are two of my favourite movie series ever!!! So this week I wanted to inspire you with a Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe inspired wedding! Although a Narnian wedding could be quite mystically themed, I decided to take a more whimsical winter vintage look. Being on the verge of winter and truly loving the benefits of a winter wedding (like discounts in the off season) I decided to make winter the more prominent inspiration for this Narnian wedding. Lemon Lime – Friday: A Day of Wedding Inspiration

Happy Friday… The sun is shining here and it’s so warm out. And when it’s warm you always need something to quench the thirst. Hence our lemon lime blog today. We have been loving the fruit infused floral centrepieces that have been going around. It adds such a cool uniqueness to any wedding. They are also quite affordable because you can choose to use flowers and fruits that are in season. A huge variety of colours to choose from and eco-friendly too if you stick with locally grown fruits and flowers. Yellow and green are colours you can never go wrong with. There is so much inspiration in nature that you will have endless ideas with that colour choice (and endless food recipes' and desserts). And since lemons and limes are natural yellows and greens we are using those refreshing, thirst quenching fruits as our inspiration for the blog today. Hope you enjoy.
